Investigations
Paranormal investigations from haunted locations across Australia.
A Creepy Ghost Haunting - Daylesford Hotel
The Daylesford Hotel has a history and is a very popular pub. But something was there that should not have been. Staff reported being touched by something they couldn’t see, feeling watched, uneasy, and genuinely uncomfortable. So, Paul with owner Sam, Kate the Medium, and some staff by our side, investigated. Keith was a late apology. We discover the presence behind the disturbances, the “creep” who’s been lingering for decades convinced the pub is his. Kate calls on the help of Anubis, the Egyptian god of the afterlife, as we work together to help him move on. But it isn’t all frightening… we also meet a friendly grandpa spirit, quietly looking out for us and the staff while the haunting unfolds. With plenty of paranormal equipment hits, including light anomalies that set off a cat’s ball, this investigation doesn’t just capture activity, it builds a story. We find out the names of the creep and grandpa and we’re tracing them back to real people believed to have lived in Daylesford. Sit back, turn the lights down, and join us for A Creepy Ghost Haunting.

The Soul Collector - The Haunting of Lancefield Guesthouse
Tonight, we return to Lancefield Guesthouse, a chilling slice of history that dates back to the 1800s. This time, Paul and Keith are joined by Kate. A gifted medium who can see and talk to spirit. After the original pub burned down in 1891 (a fire blamed on the publican), the truth came to light. He was murdered. In this investigation, we strung together the story of the landlord. We got poltergeist activity on CCTV, Rem Pod spikes, orbs, EVPs, and even disembodied voices. Lancefield pub (commercial hotel) later became a bush hospital from 1919 to 1996, with countless deaths tied to its walls. It’s no surprise that this is the most haunted place we’ve ever investigated. Best of all, you can even sleep over in self-contained rooms with Tania, your wonderful host making you feel most welcome. The ghosts are mostly friendly. Well except the landlord. He’s a mean MF and likes to show off with moving stuff around, opening and closing doors and flicking the lights. He likes collecting souls and all the attention.
Aokigahara: The Haunting of Suicide Forest
Join us on a spine-tingling adventure as we delve into the infamous Aokigahara Forest, often referred to as the "Suicide Forest" of Japan. In this chilling episode, we navigate through the eerie woods filled with twisted trees and the echoes of a troubled past. Equipped with a K2 and some communication software, we set out to detect the Yūrei (幽霊) which are figures in Japanese folklore analogous to the Western concept of ghosts. The name consists of two kanji, 幽 (yū), meaning "faint" or "dim" and 霊 (rei), meaning "soul" or "spirit". The Yūrei of the departed are said to roam this hauntingly beautiful landscape. Beneath the shadowy canopy, we uncover unsettling noises and detect some of the forest's tragic history. The poignant suicide warning signs urge visitors to reach out for help and remember their loved ones before ending their lives. Immerse yourself in the mystique of Aokigahara and discover what lies beyond the surface of this hauntingly captivating destination. We got plenty of hits, responses and chills in this most haunted forest in the world. Off the bench as guest investigator is Luke. Keith will be back for the next adventure.

Maryvale Murders Investigation
In 1874 a young woman, her illegitimate 15-month-old daughter, and the man who was paid to marry her, leave Mount Gambier to travel to Lubeck in Victoria. Two days later they are camped on the Maryvale Estate near Edenhope and never seen again. That is until a ghost is seen by shearers ten years later and the remains of Maria Langley and Lousia are found near a fallen tree. Later the remains of McNally are found who was believed to have intervened at the murder scene in at the Sheep Wash Swamp Camp and murdered by Robert Cook, the husband of the late Maria. Did we find the ghost of McNally? The is part one of our investigation that is really just a teaser of what's in store for 2024. Thanks to Helen Mulraney-Rolls from Edenhope Historical Society for helping us.
Once for Yes - Asylum ghosts
As the guest of Eerie tours, we ventured back to Aradale Lunatic Asylum for a paranormal investigation. We have been here plenty of times but tonight was the most active we've experienced. Knocking on windows with the most interaction on K2's and Ghost Meters we've ever had. A great host in Sage and Eerie tours. Highly recommend. Enjoy Once for Yes.
The most haunted hotel in Australia
We were lucky enough to get an afterhours personal tour from publicans Tiani and Dave of the most haunted hotel in Australia. The North Kapunda Hotel in South Australia is an active place not to mention fantastic food and cold beer. We weren’t expecting a tour, so everything was shot on the mobile with no equipment. Nice Halloween decs too! There is no accommodation now so it really is just a pub, but they have proper tours by Ghost Crime Tours on weekends including sleepovers and lock ins. Something we missed so will be coming back for. All active rooms have a 24/7 CCTV feed. 👻🍺
Antwerp Exorcism Story
One really sad story we checked out. Really a WTF story.
Most Haunted Asylum - Beechworth
A visit to Beechworth Asylum 5 years after being attacked in 2017. What could go wrong? A few special guests join Paul and Keith in a paranormal investigation by Beechworth Ghost Tours. Danielle, Georgia and Rob join a very active night with scratching's, EMF communication, voices and plenty of interaction with a harmonica. The bull pit will never be the same again...
How to write a song with a ghost
The are a few simple steps in writing a song with a ghost. It's never easy and sometimes they don't give you much apart from a few letters. The three steps. (1) You need to find somewhere haunted, (2) make contact and then (3) get inspired and write a song. This is the first time we have tried to record such interaction although we have done a heap. The resulting song is a walk through the alphabet. The K2 flashes a heap, voices heard and a shadow goes across the camera. A little bit spooky. The song may do better on the other side than it will here! Enjoy.
Spirit words from the other side
We did an Echovox session in a hotel room in Traralgon in December 2020. What we picked up was plenty of words that seemed to be responses or comments to what we were asking or doing. Did we make contact with both Nick and Craig in this session? Maybe. Our own names were mentioned several times. This is just a brief summary of some of the clearer words.
Lady of the swamp
In 1952 Margaret Clement went missing and was never found. A recluse living in the family mansion "Tulleree", the house fell into disrepair as the once affluent family became broke. A swamp soon started to swallow the house that she shared with her sister Jeanie. A far cry from the garden parties and high society entertaining the social butterflies did prior to WW1. Mystery surrounds what happened to Margaret years after here sister died. Some say she was murdered by a neighbour. The boys decided to investigate to see if they could uncover any clues to one of Victoria's biggest unsolved mysteries. This of course involved writing a song about the lady of the swamp.
Haunt of the Bunyip
The town Tooradin in Victoria was named after the Bunurong aboriginal name meaning monster. The myth of the bunyip which has reportedly been seen all over Australia, usually frequents watering holes and swamps. The boys investigate and even get bitten by something unknown. All in the spirit of fun and a song but you have to wonder how all these myths are born.
Ghosts of Ghost Towns
Covering 14 ghost towns in regional Victoria Australia, the boys encounter some eerie abandoned houses, a possible poltergeist and some strange equipment readings. The trip does have the accompaniment of Nick Penfold, a mate and musician who plays and wrote the intro song many years before he passed. A fun adventure from some of the worst paranormal investigators going around! It's all about the music, some gibberish voices and a bit of imagination be you alive or dead. Enjoy. Raising money for cancer council of Victoria
Haunted Asylum Aradale
Thanks to Nathaniel from Eerie Tours we got the chance to investigate the Aradale Lunatic Asylum. Again we picked up plenty of activity in the female ward and some strange images. The footage in the female ward has plenty of unexplained lights flying about with an active EMF (K2). We detected nothing much else in the rest of the asylum apart from a few unexplained noises. Very spooky and somewhat tragic place. Enjoy this short vid.
A Ghostly Gut Feeling - Beechworth Mental Asylum
This is the last episode of the Paranormal Investigator Star Search inaugural trip. Join us on the investigation led by Asylum Ghost Tours as we wander the asylum making contact with ghosts of past patients and staff. There is some truly disturbing history to this place but we found the ghosts willing to communicate through various devices not to mention a few shadows, noises and a bubbling gut. The live Facebook feed has been summarised in the first ten minutes of episode twelve. After that, you can experience a summary of the rest of the investigation for 25 minutes. We highly recommend the investigation led by Asylum Ghost Tours. It wasn't a history tour as many ghost tours are but an actual investigation from 11pm to 2am to not only detect entities but to also communicate with them. Taking the Paranormal Investigators Star Search on the road is a light-hearted look at life and death while also raising money for the Cancer Council Victoria.
The Most Haunted - Monte Cristo in Junee
This place would really rock at night when the ghosts come out to play. Nevertheless, we had the place to ourselves in the day, heard plenty of noises and even discovered a cleaner stuck inside a wall. This could just be the most haunted house in Australia and possibly the world. Many deaths occurred here over the years including a maid, a baby, a caretaker and Mr and Mrs Crawley themselves (owners). The original homestead was built in 1876. There's been plenty of ghost sightings and strange happenings over the years...Next time we will have a sleep over here. Taking the Paranormal Investigators Star Search on the road is a light-hearted look at life and death while also raising money for the Cancer Council Victoria.
Picton Tunnel Tauntings
One of the most haunted and creepiest places in Australia. The Picton tunnel is a disused 592ft long railway tunnel closed in 1919. It has a history of suicides and at least one railway accident of a woman named Emily. It lies in waiting up a dark dirt road with no signs pointing the way. We got day time permission to visit and were not disappointed. While we filmed over an hour of footage, our microphone went dead and our back up GroPro died. We didn't know until afterwards that we had no microphone. Lucky we filmed the Echovox session with a mobile. The results? Some strange noises, an approaching train and more taunting through the Echovox. Pity the harmonica playing in the tunnel didn't get recorded! And just who is Steve?
